Raffy Romanban of Purok 5, Brgy. Lipay-Dingin-Panibuatan, reported one hundred three (103) Pawikan eggs. Through the composite team of Provincial Government of Zambales in person of Mr. Nicholas Guiua, Mr. Regis Bruant of Sundowners and Mead Foundation Pawikan Initiative and Mr. Gilbert Ong (MENRO), the said Pawikan eggs where then transferred to the hatching site in Danacbunga, Botolan, Zambales.

And with the help of Mr. Miguel Liggayu and Ms. Alyssa Castro (MTO), the Pawikan eggs were buried to the make-shift hatchery. Those eggs are expected to be hatchlings after more or less forty-five(45) days.

We would like to remind everyone to report any sightings of Pawikan to our office (MENRO) or thru this Facebook page. And please just point us to the location and to never touch the eggs or the Pawikan.
